Next Level Drift 2019 - Poland Photo Archives

Image
Not to be cliche, but this event really was Next Level! It's so much fun making new international car friends and attending one of Poland's hottest drift events made that easy. The event hosted drivers from not only Poland but around the world as well. This year there were guest drivers invited from countries all over Europe like Germany, Spain, Sweden, and even Australia. I met up with almost all of my friends from all over Europe and made a lot of new ones. It's so crazy going to an event where everyone has such a cool style and I love talking to people about their cars to see their vision of the build. Next Level has a high standard of quality when it comes to accepting someone's car into the show. Drivers had to apply well in advance before being accepted or rejected to drift at the event. There are strict qualifications and they won't let just anyone register as a driver. As a spectator, I had no issues with that because all it meant was that I would be seein...

FinalBout Gallery 2019 - USA Photo Archives

I mean, I wasn't sure what to expect from The Cheese State, but Final Bout definitely surpassed all of my expectations. It was my first time travelling to the East Coast and, for some reason, Wisconsin just felt like it would be a more authentic American experience than I'd ever had before. I hopped off the plane in Wisconsin ready to see what America's Dairyland had to offer me. After checking into our Super 8 Motel, I headed to the gas station where I was unable to get a 4Loko due to a county law so I decided to get a full night's sleep in preparation for the wild week ahead of me. We decided to take a quick road trip to Chicago before heading to our final destination of Shawano, Wisconsin. Turns out there are actually a ton of cool car shops in Chicago, but all I saw was a big chrome bean. I did, however, get to eat a deep-dish pizza that was bigger than my head so I really can't complain! Finally, the day of FinalBout had arrived. I drove down there with my f...

Kakegawa Kaido Racer Event - Japan Photo Archives

Image
I don't think I've ever smiled more than I did at this car meet. The event was held in Kakegawa, Shizuoka - about 3.5 hours out of Osaka, which meant an early start to the day. It was the perfect day to cruise down the highway, have I ever mentioned how much I love the fall weather in Japan? After a quick stop for lunch, where we stumbled across another car meet at a parking area along the highway, we finally arrived in Kakegawa. Driving through the countryside, I saw a few beautiful cars parked in front of traditional Japanese-style houses. Before even pulling into the event, zokusha-style cars were flying past us and showing off their perfectly styled cars. After spending hours scrolling through pictures of cars like this on the internet, I was so excited to finally see some kaido racer cars in person. We were a little bit behind schedule, but there were still a lot of cars parked in the field when we got there. We arrived just in time to catch the end...
